- SmartNow was established in 2009 to bring the Current Cost range of energy monitoring products to Australia and New Zealand. We believe that the majority of people will not change their habits unless there is a financial benefit in doing so, and hence the introduction of the Current Cost ENVI and TREC. These fantastic energy monitors will almost certainly pay for themselves within six months in the average Australian home... and in the average Australian business, they can pay for themselves in a matter of days. One customer saved a MegaWatt-hour (worth approximately $150) in the first five days of installing his ENVI... all whilst running his business completely normally. We're not asking you to stop using electricity... we're just giving you a tool to help you stop WASTING electricity... and money.
